Hello world,

Soooooo... *long pause*

I'm jobless again...Yes, I quit my internship (yes, after only 2 weeks... *hides face*). It just really wasn't my cup of tea along with other external and internal reasons. heh. Thus, I'm back to square one, job hunting... I might consider rotting this whole holiday. I'm not complaining about bumming around, I don't mind it actually (to be honest).. But, money doesn't fall from the sky (WHY??) and my dad will probably be not too pleased about it. :O

So how now???

For every light that was lite represents someones plea for help, the burning hopes and dreams buried in them.
For every light that shines has a story behind it; a story from different individuals of different life's, different backgrounds.
In desperate times, they turn to God and not irrational actions.

Suicide is never ever the solution to your problems.
Suicide is an act of a coward dodging problems.
Suicide is permanent as you can never turn back the clock once it's done.

After reading about the suicide case of Alviss Kong, all I can say is I don't feel sorry for you. Though yes, I do hope you rest in peace. I hope you didn't regret in the end your actions, that is now permanent. My condolences to your family although like many, I did not know them, nor did I know you.

Oh Shoot Me Please!

I went from this...

My Hunger For You...

you're voice is the first thing I want to hear when I wake up every morning
you're the person I want to rant about my day to
you're voice is the last thing I want to hear before I go to bed.

I miss you, bum...

Thankful

I just got my Semester 1 results via text just now. Overall, I would say that I did ok, but not good and not great. However, I am thankful to God for guiding me through the whole examination. I am thankful he comforted me before every paper and I am also thankful that he answered my prayers; that is to not fail anything. Now that I know where I stand (which is quite low in the hierarchy of success), I have to really buck up next semester. Imma wear on my game face. >.<

Technology, Oh Technology

WHY DO YOU FCUKING DESPISE ME? :(

Last night, my beloved, almost 1 month (YES ONLY ALMOST A MONTH) old phone decided to go into a coma. I could not revive it. I tried removing the battery, I tried removing the SIM card and I also tried plugging it into the charger, but it refused to 'wake' up. Then I remembered twin telling me something about Nokia phones always having to constantly be reformatted. Hence, I googled and trust me, I did not like what I found. Click here please. Tell me how to NOT feel depressed after spending 3/4 of my salary from Juiceworks on the phone T_T.

FML?

Yes, I'm that lifeless.haha. :( :( :(
On a much crappier note brighter note, work starts on Wednesday.

If Only Money Grew On Trees

Hello world,

Is it just me or does time seem to be passing by really fast this year? I've been having a lot of flashback memories of the events that happened a year ago. One year ago, during this time, I was having my finals. One year ago, during this time, I was admitted into the hospital. One year ago, during this time, it was near prom (My first, and only prom with twin, who was my date & Lara). One year ago, during this time, we celebrated freedom. Most importantly, one year ago, during this time, we were all still living in the same country. Now, everyone is scattered all over the place. We don't text or hangout anymore. Instead, we've traded all of that for long skype conversations. Ah.. the joys of modern technology! I'm some how having a para-social relationship with my close niche of friends. I was just talking to twin . She was telling me about her gymnastics coaching course and the stuff she needs to do before she can officially coach on her own. I then told her that we should actually make our college businesss class project (our dance business, Shakie's School of Dance) become reality. We could start off in Canada before expanding the business to Malaysia (Eujin and I would run this 1) and also expanding our business to Sri Lanka (Shakie will run this 1). Twin would still be based in Canada, and so would our main office. We could all put to good use the skills we are learning in our respective universities now. Ah but of course, this isn't really possible as we do not have the money to invest in this dream. It is but a dream. Maybe some day when one of us marries a rich dude or chick (in Eujin's case), it will happen. hehe. But till then.. heh .. But you have to admit that the idea we have is awesome. :)

So you see, readers, if you could just come up with a way to grow money on trees, I'd be :D cause...yeah, you get the point. ;p

That's all for now.

A very random rant. hehe.

Part & Parcel of Life

Our lives are like a long and winding journey towards a certain destination. This destination varies according to what we expect to accomplish out of life. It could be pure happiness, success, recognition, etc. However, before we get there, there's a million and one obstacles and hurdles that we have to get through, some may be unpleasant, some may be pleasant and some really just test our strength to go on. I believe that the situation I'm about to put myself into is all part of growing up. I will scrape through it and survive, not unscratched but as a better, mature person. In Decembre, I say Bonjour le stage! I really do hope my decision was the right one cause I some how feel like I am jeopardizing quite a bit from this job, especially my time. Hopefully, the benefits out weigh the cost. heh. But yeah, no point in avoiding this because one day I will have to go through it anyways. After all, it is all part and parcel of life, my life. At least I choose to believe so.

She Who Left

You readers are wondering why there has not been much said about twin over the last few months and also why pretty much everything is being referred to in the past tense. Well, it is because twin left on the 26th of August for Toronto, her birth place and also the place she's going to resume her studies (and is already resuming it..). Hence, the next few blog post after this will all be events that happened before she left. After that, I think I won't be mentioning much about her till she gets back for her break in 2012. Till then, B1 and B2 shall cease to exist. Booo...

I miss you twin and all the random stuff we use to do together.

The Twins Go to the Twin Towers

On the 15th of July, the wonderful people you see in the picture above made a trip down to KL to go up the KLCC Skybridge. This outing was planned by moi for a very long, long time but it had to be put on hold due to the availability of everyone. However, in the end, Amir bailed also cause of his Visa application stuff to Oh Canada . :(

You can click here for details (i.e. opening hours, days it is open to the public, etc.) regarding the KLCC Skybridge.

My advice to you guys if you plan to go is, be sure to be there early to avoid disappointment as the tickets distributed are limited to a certain amount each day. We reached the waiting area around 7.15am-ish and this was the crowd already:

The tickets are distributed at around 8am. Tourist are usually allowed to pick which time slot they want to go up. However, it is on a first come first serve basis. 5 tickets can be collected by one representative. Hence, be sure to go in large groups to avoid boredom.

If you go in a large group, be sure to have a camera to camwhore ;p

Once at the top, don't forget to:

Gaze down

Take a group shot

And take a jumping shot that will shake the whole bridge (yes, we did shake the whole bridge, the tour guide guy told us)

Lastly, take a mug shot of everyone as prove of "I've been to the KLCC Skybridge!". :D

That's all for this post.

Port Dickson

28th June 2010

Yes, it was way back in June that my friends and I did a day trip down to Malacca (which I've already updated on) and Port Dickson. The only reason why we decided to make a stop at PD was for the oh so NOT clean beach. In case you don't already know this, people say that the sea water a.k.a the water at the beach contains water from the toilets of the nearby hotels and public toilets because the plumbing system is interconnected. :O So yeah, not so clean, but we were itching for the beach and none of us knew where the beach was in Malacca. Hence, PD. Sorry if I seem to be beating around the mulberry bush right now.

Anyhoo, after driving and driving and driving in search of the beach my parents brought me the last time, Daniel suggested that we should go to the beach at Avillion Hotel. Since we were not guests at the hotel, we were well going to trespass. hahaha.

We people do not know how to read signs.

The beach was pretty much abandoned due to the hot sun. See see see!! ;p

Since it was steaming hot we decided to have a little tree climbing session.

The evil crab monsters lurked the pathway to the sea. Hence, I didn't get the opportunity to dip my toes in the sea. :( After awhile, we got ask to leave the hotel property and we were even escorted out. An 'awesome' way to make our way out. Booo.

We decided to go and grab something to eat after that. Pizza Hut was the nearest option we had and my-oh-my was the place filthy. The whole restaurant had flies flying around, the sink had dead flies in it. In short, I lost my appetite after washing my hands. While waiting for the food, Amir attempted to google the beach we were looking for. I had already called my parents to ask them the name of the beach, which by the way, I've already forgotten the name. haha.. It's been so many months so you can't blame me for I stored this detail in my short term memory. bleh After all the 390984093280 attempts, we finally found the beach. We managed to dunk our self in the filthy sea water. Oh, we also sat the banana boat. It was my very first time by the way!

And...

We also bumped into Yi Bei there.

We didn't know that her parents owned the hotel/ shower area there. :D

Before I end this rather messed up, all over the place post, here is a picture of the sunset.

:)

A better update next time. :B

The Art of Procrastination

Having a major assignment due tomorrow or.. an exam just around the corner; say this Friday?? However, you just can't seem to place your butt down in front of your study table and study/complete your assignment/homework etc? Well, you my friend have pretty much started your quest on mastering the art of procrastinating. heh

.
...
.....
.......
.....
....
...
..
.

As you can see, my attempt to study communications today was an epic failure (not that the day is over yet, but still!!). Instead of mastering how to communicate with communication studies (I'm suppose to be reading the 39093 readings I've failed to read over the past few months), I managed to master "THE ART OF PROCRASTINATING".

Instead of studying I:

a) Stoned. It's the funnest thing to do (but not when you have to study for exams!!:( ). In order to stone you just have to focus on an object/ a poster/ a wall/ the floor and space out.
b) Watched Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girls. Instead of studying the theories of communications, I traded my studying hours to be a passive audience to the evil world of the media!
c) I took a nap!! and it was good!
d) I looked through my wardrobe for the fun of it.
e) I watched Barney with the lil brat. heh
f) I'm doing this blog post now. :D I mean :( :(

Awesome shit, no? Yes, I'm ashamed of myself but a tiny bit proud? I kid you about being proud ok? heh I mean there really isn't anything to be proud of... and it will most definitely show in my results in December. Fml.. Lots of miracle praying to be done. :( :( :( But God alone won't help. He won't help unless I put in effort. Sigh.

Better get going now then?

The Potential Update List

When finals are over I'll probably update on:

  • Port Dickson Trip (finally!)
  • Birthday Party with Twin :D
  • Twin's farewell :(

Mambo Jumbo A.K.A Crap

Exam ar...
Why is you so hard to tackle? :(
Me no like you much because
you make me stress
and when I stress
I eat so much my tummy bloats!
my face becomes oily
and so does my hair!
my eye bags become bigger that you can barely see my eyes.
Exam ar..
you so difficult to understand
why can't you tell me how you feel
instead of making me guess from A, B, C and D.
that's like a probability of 25%
of getting the chance to know you :(
Exam ar..
why must i write down what is on your mind
some more only 2 hours to do so.
how how how?
Gah!

Sorry people, this is the stress speaking. I know this doesn't really make much sense but oh well...
